Don't power wash or anything harsh like that. That will decrease the life of the cartridge. D.E (Diatomaceous Earth) Filters require a good back-washing every 1-3 months. Again, monitor the pressure and when it gets above 10 PSI from the clean filter then it is time to clean it. You will need to clean your Sand Filter every 1-4 weeks. These types of pool filters tend to be a little lower maintenance and easy to use. |
